
As a non-profit organization our ministry is to encourage college students to embrace principles that will refresh, clarify, and strengthen their relationships and their lives. We focus on the message of purity and/or abstinence in relationships. We're here to encourage college age young adults to reach their fullest potential in every way we can.
The web site vergeonline.org is one resource offered by our organization. We also grant a $1000 scholarship to a college junior who creates abstinence programming on his or her campus while also embodying the values of Verge.
We work with campus groups to produce The Art of Losing our original play of monologues addressing sex, the sexual revolution, and sex related issues including STDs, pregnancy, abortion, low self-esteem, lack of self-control, commitment, and covenant.
Lastly, we run a Meals for Moms service that delivers restaurant-prepared meals to new mothers in our area in the first two weeks after they give birth. Through this service we commend the decision that a woman makes to become a mother. It is important to us to address pregnancy, children, and abortion since these are the most life altering effects of sex (apart from HIV/AIDS). Read more...
